just wanna say for people who have chronic illness/adhd/any form of low energy or spoons—using premade items, canned goods, boxed meals, microwave meals, and everything in between isn’t a shame or embarrassing!!!!
If you have limited energy, helping yourself find a manageable way to eat meals is so important!!
You don’t need to overcome your disability or mental illness to be “worthy”.
There’s a lot of focus on people “defying the odds” and showing that their disability “can’t hold them back”.
But here’s the thing... sometimes your disability does hold you back. Sometimes, no matter how much you want to, you can’t do some things.
And it’s okay. You’re still worthy.

Nice stretch marks you ugly fat bitch 🤢🤮
sheepgirlbleats answered:
ok
anyways i gained a lot of weight very quickly due to an SSRI i was taking, and i got a lot of stretch marks and barely recognized myself when i saw my body in the mirror. i was disgusted by the way they looked, how red and visceral they were, the image of my skin rapidly growing to adjust to the change in weight. but then they faded, and red turned to purple, and purple to pink. and some day, the pink will fade to white, and rn i haven’t thought of them as ugly in a really long time. i took these pictures months ago because i thought i looked like raspberry ribbon icecream and it looks cool.
anyways the point is sometimes you gain weight. sometimes you lose weight. sometimes you have physical, visual representations of those changes that will last maybe forever. and maybe to you thats gross, the idea of bodies changing, of people aging, of genitals drooping and breasts sagging and skin wilting and wrinkles forming.
but tbh you’d be wrong, because its awesome.
This headline is wild to think about. Could you imagine your field of work being labeled the leading cause of death in the entire fucking country and not having to worry about being unemployed by weeks end? I doubt any pig who reads this is even remotely worried about their job. It's fucking insane.
I am looking for music recommendations!!
So far, my summer has become one about rage. This is not exclusive to feminine rage, but it is a very potent form that I experience.
I am looking for songs with a similar vibe to “Dead Men Don’t Rape” by Delilah Bon, “Burn Your Village” by Kiki Rockwell, “Death of a Predator” by Banshee, and to a much lesser extent “Labour” by Paris Paloma and “One Nation Underdogs” by Royal & the Serpent. Scene Queen isn’t bad, but it doesn’t feel right currently
I’d love to expand my music horizons. I am sick of being sad about everything, and I want to get angry about it instead. I want music that makes me feel something and motivates me to do something about everything.
not to talk about doctor who but remember being a lonely depressed teenager and hearing him say ‘900 years of time and space and i’ve never met anyone who wasn’t important’
he was like ‘just this once-everybody lives’ and i chased that shit with homosexual determination for every day since, like maybe through pure force of will i could save everyone i loved from a system that wanted us dead
CGI animators should unionize next. normally, their jobs would be too precarious to strike, since studios would replace them without a second thought, but if it's part of this larger general film strike, they might finally have meaningful power to better their working conditions
if CGI animators unionized, it would kill the MCU. straight up. the the entire business model is built on exploiting CGI animators
THEY ARE TRYING!!!!! SIGN THE PETITION TO GET THE DISNEY ANIMATORS' UNION RECOGNIZED
this petition is from IATSE (union), btw! it actually has credibility, unlike most change.org/etc petitions! please sign it!!
Hey. Gentiles. Listen up for a sec.
When September and October are nearing and you’re planning an event: google “Rosh Hashanah *year*” and *Yom Kippur *year*” and then, and I cannot stress this enough, don’t plan your event on those days. In fact, don’t plan any events starting sundown the night before. Those are the three most important days of the Jewish calendar, and, once again, I cannot stress enough how much this little bit of forethought and kindness will make every Jew you know cry tears of joy.
